So I went on Amazon and brought a Sim card reader/writer/editor, Advertised as a USB, 16 in 1 Super SIM Card Reader Writer Cloner Edit, Copy Backup GSM CDMA Kit, it arrived today, with a small disc with it that with the software etc on it, also a super sim to store info on My first thought was I needed to update the software and I looked high and low across the net but I was unable to find an update, I also downloaded and installed at least half a dozen generic software for sim card readers and they did open but did not work with the reader/writer My original Reader/Writer - SIMcard - worked well no problems on Windows 7 when I went to install the program on Windows 10, it installed but the program would not open, I deleted it a few times and reinstalled it but to no avail. When I found it did not work on Windows 10 (using my daughters computer), it's not a biggie but it does what I need for now, till I can organise getting another computer (Picture attached of specs I am using for the moment)
My original one worked till I put to rest my last windows 7 computer last year. Hi everyone, been having problems since I started to use Windows 10 with my sim card reader/editor/writer, although it does take SD cards it's a sim card reader.
